We visited today after pretty much giving up on another local soul food restaurant because they've become so stingy with their food. Nevertheless, Toni's has generous portions and my husband's meat loaf and sides were delish. I ordered the fried fish which is a single large filet. I ordered the fish, greens and Mac & Cheese and I enjoyed it all. The price is reasonable and you only get two sides but the servings are what you'd expect for the price and the portions are a little more generous then our previous restaurant. Most of us want our money's worth and I think we received that here. The young lady taking our order was very sweet and helpful. She was an excellent example of Southern hospitality. I really hope others will try this restaurant out and I think you'll be very pleased. We need to give Toni a good reason to stay on our side of town so please go visit her. The restaurant is clean and she's decorated it really lovely. She's on Alta Mesa in the same location where the Sausage Shopp used to be.

My goodness! EVERYTHING was delicious! Now I'm a diabetic and that sugary good kool-aid I couldn't drink. But my wife did and she loved it. Ms Linda was the bomb! Friendly, good service and she was just a gem. The food was outside of my grandma's and ma's was the best. Makes you feel like home. Best Soul Food restaurant wifey and myself has EVER had! Damn good eating. We've DEFINITELY found us a new spot. Sugar free tea and Seet n Low is my only suggestion.

I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, catfish, and black eyed peas that came with cornbread, this was a two meat plate and it was absolutely worth it, everything was absolutely Devine!!! Meatloaf was kind of sweet like I like it, Mac and cheese I gave to my baby he tore it up! She also has a spiritual store you should check out as well! She such a sweet lady and I will be back.

First of if you haven’t been here yet, you NEED to ! Ms. Linda was my server was amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu! Ms. Toni is the cook and EVERYTHING WAS GOOD! I came on a Saturday afternoon, I order oxtails with rice, fried okra and collard greens and cornbread ! Everything was delicious and the tenderism of the oxtails! I didn’t even need teeth to eat it! I highly recommend and will be back! I loved that they make their collard greens with turkey because I don’t eat pork. Oh that the IN HOUSE LEMONADE was delicious and I don’t even get drinks because I stay with water.

I don't understand why this place wasn't packed on Sunday afternoon. The service was exceptional, the food was good and the vibe was nice. We loved the music selections, that made the dining in experience really nice. Please let up on the salt in the greens. Every time I've had them they were salty. See y'all in a few weeks though!

I’m new to the area and tried Toni’s this evening and it was the best soul food I’ve had in a long time! I ordered the meatloaf with 2 sides, macaroni, okra & cornbread. There is also mash potatoes under the meatloaf! Everything was GREAT! Food had great taste & was seasoned well! Cornbread was sweet how I like it. She also gave me a lot of food! I’m thankful for that. Her banana pudding was also good! A little sweet but good!! The atmosphere was nice, the restaurant was clean! There’s also a drive through. I’ll definitely be back to try the other food!

My husband and I tried the food for the 1st time today. We love supporting black businesses and she’s from our home state. The restaurant is clean and staff is very courteous. I love the gold utensils. We had the 2 meat plates , totaling $50 +. We had the fried chicken and fried fish, seasoning was good but chicken could have stayed in the grease longer. I got red beans and rice and greens, not a fan of the greens and the red beans were a bit salty. My husband said the greens were a bit too salty. They give you a decent size piece of corn bread. The kool aid was thirst quenching and sweet. Overall not a bad experience, will visit again
